A unique opportunity to rent this unusual and picturesque cottage is set in the Koroni Castle complex which consists of six other small dwellings, a monastery, two churches and an historic cemetery.   The views from here over the bay of Koroni and Zaga beach are quite stunning. 
The cottage is compact and cosy and comprises one large living/studio room with log burning stove, air conditioning unit, double bed with drawers under, wardrobe, single divan/sofa, bookcase, table and chairs.   Leading from the living room this there is a small fully fitted kitchen with cooker/oven (small), fridge, granite worktops, cupboards, drawers and sink.   This leads into an outdoor kitchen with double sink unit with cupboards underneath and another small fridge.
Also leading off the main room is a small shower room with hand basin, toilet and shower.  There are also shelves for towels and toiletries    Water is heated with an electric boiler.
Outside the house is a small housing for the washing machine and an outdoor shower.   The cottage is surrounded by one stremma of land comprising an olive grove and a mature garden with many different fruit trees and plants.   There are two verandas for outdoor eating and a large table and 4 chairs.  One verandah is shaded by a vine and bamboo.
Linen can be provided.
The castle sits on top of the town of Koroni and is a 10 minute walk away from the town and nearest beach.    The town has all amenities, banks, supermarket, hairdresser, taxis, car hire and regular buses to Kalamata.   There are plenty of tavernas along the harbour and in the town.   There are two town beaches as well as the 2.5. km sandy beach of Zaga.  They are all excellent beaches for swimming
There is off street parking in the garden for 2-3 cars
The owners would reserve the right to harvest their olives in early December and to also make a monthly check on the garden.  (rental only)
